Sunil Dhar is a recently retired Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, Nottingham University Hospitals Trust (appointed 1997). His main clinical interests include ankle arthroplasty and foot and ankle reconstruction surgery. He has served as President of two UK national societies, the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS 2010) and the British Limb Reconstruction Society (BLRS 2011-2012). He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the British Limb Reconstruction Society. He has taught and trained foot and ankle surgeons globally, is on the reviewing board of several medical journals and is widely published. He is currently one of the Design Surgeons on the Total Ankle Replacement Design Team with Stryker Medical Corporation, USA.
