The COLLO-MIS is a primary uncemented short stem which has been designed following the neck-conservation philosophy, aiming to preserve the bone stock of the proximal femur. This femoral stem is characterized by an elliptical cross-section and by longitudinal fins; its medial curvature varies with size, which ranges from 1 to 9. It is coated by a double layer of porous titanium and hydroxyapatite.
