The stems in the Standard C system follow the concept of a straight stem with flattened lateral shoulder. The straight profile and rectangular cross section of the implant give proximal stability. The Standard C Cem (cementable), allows surgeons to change intraoperatively to a cementable stem without requiring a different instrument set. The stem is available in standard (CCD 134°;) and lateralized (CCD 131°;, + 5mm offset) forms. The stem is made from alloy steel FeCrNiMnMoNbN (M30NW) and has a highly polished surface.
